From a Child’s Hobby to a Full-Blown Invertebrate Obsession. 

What started as a fun little project with our kid — setting up an enclosure for a couple of giant African millipedes — quickly spiralled into something… much, much bigger… and that’s saying something for a giant African millipede.

We didn’t expect to fall in love with the quiet charm of isopods or the slow, graceful wiggle of millipedes. But here we are: completely hooked. What began as something from a college course somehow took over our living room, then the garage, and now... well, we’ve lost count of how many enclosures we have… possibly on purpose.

We’re a family-run operation fueled by curiosity, caffeine, and the joy of sharing these amazing little creatures with the world. Our home has become a tiny jungle full of legs, leaves, and laughter — and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Now, we share our passion through this site: offering healthy, captive-bred millipedes and isopods, high-quality supplies, and fun extras like 3D printed critters. Whether you're brand-new to the hobby or a seasoned keeper, we hope our love for these underrated bugs brings a little joy (and maybe a few extra legs) into your life.
